Feddreate Castle Remains

In the Aberdeenshire parish of New Deer the remains of an L-shaped tower house can be seen across a field.. Thought to date from the 15th century, Federate Castle was probably built on the site of an earlier castle possibly built in 1257. Ox-eye Daisies have been used as a textured layer to create a dreamy mood in this photo-composite.
